St. Louis police association leaders split on local control

Leadership of the St. Louis Police Officers Association has split over Proposition A, a statewide proposal to return control of the police department to City Hall. ¬†The group’s president has come out against the measure, but its¬†executive board remains in favor.

    Proposition A will give the Mayor (Slay or future mayor) absolute power.

    And Rex Sinquefeld will be able to control the future of the city if Proposition A passes. He has only his own personal interests in the forefront.
