Join The Election Watch Party At The Contemporary Art Museum

The Contemporary Art Museum and Beyond November are teaming up to present an election night watch party that will inform, entertain and stimulate your thinking about politics and the arts. It’s free, open to the public and features a cash bar and food trucks at the site. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Participant’s will be part of Jonathan Horowitz’s art installation Your Land/My Land: Election ’12 as they sit on a blue or red carpet and watch back-to-back TVs airing MSNBC and Fox News. The Nine Network and NewsChannel 5 will also be broadcast in other areas of the museum. Horowitz’s work in art and politics has gotten nationwide attention. 

Guests from the Public Media collaboration Beyond November will provide commentary. CAM will be open until the final results are declared, celebrating democracy with balloons and apple pie.
