The average Democratic win in Missouri’s statewide races was nearly 10 percentage points. And this was with the Republican presidential candidate carrying the state by a large margin. How did a party that was so seemingly set up to succeed, fail at the statewide level?

  1. i do not know what to say when it comes to Missouri. It is a state that I feel that will have to catch up with the current times and this is not a joke or to be mean about anything.

    I wish I knew why our state has gotten so red in recent years. Is it a brain drain of thoughtful folks? Just the increasingly cranky nature of an aging population? (I plead guilty.) An influx of out of staters with more conservative views? Might be a good topic for an investigative report.
