Lamping Files Tax Reform Bill To Raise Some Taxes, Lower Others

Mo. State Sen. John Lamping, R-St. Louis County, has filed a new proposal to raise Missouri’s cigarette tax and  the state’s sales tax by one-half percent while fixing the state income tax rate at a flat 4 percent.  He says it will result in a net tax cut for Missourians.
